Summary:

Rhymed text and illustrations show all the things that cars do when they play.

Blurb:

Can cars play Jacks? Do they like to swim or go ice-skating? You bet! Cars like to play just as much as kids. They may go about it differently, but don't be surprised if your car wants to join in the next time you play hide-and-seek or Simon Says. Look inside to see how they do it.

This clever book by Rick and Ann Walton and James Lee Croft shows how much fun you never knew cars were having.

Dedication:

To Carolee and Terry Ferris and all their little hoppers.

Author Bio:

Rick and Ann Walton's family car (with them and their four kids inside) played all across America. It skied through blizzards in Utah, hiked through the Appalachian Mountains, and even swam through a hurricane in New York. Luckily, it usually wins at hide-and-seek. Rick is the author of dozens of books for children, including The Bear Came Over to My House , illustrated by James Warhola, and My Two Hands, My Two Feet , illustrated by Julia Gorton. Ann cowrote many of Rick's books and helped edit all the rest. You can find out more about Rick at www.rickwalton.com .
